Located on Galveston’s coveted Jamaica Beach the recently remodeled 3 bedroom and 1.5 bath home is modern and updated with tasteful touches. The house sleeps up to 6 and is perfect for families or couples. Pelican Paradise has everything you will need to have a relaxing beach vacation. It has a fully equipped kitchen including all the necessities for cooking, morning coffee, etc... as well as outside grilling! There are several outdoor lounging areas on this fully fenced property including an upstairs porch, a cool spot under the home, and a large gazebo next to the pool. There are board games and smart TVs for those unexpected rainy days. The upstairs/main floor has a gorgeous living room, dining area, kitchen, and a large "master" bedroom with a queen size bed, a large chest of drawers, a smart TV as well as a dedicated workspace (a small desk and chair for those that need to mix work, remote schooling, and vacation), a second bedroom with a double bed and large closet and a full bath. The strong Wi-Fi of 250+Mbps is enough to attend video conferences while the others are streaming movies and shows. There is comfy seating in the living room for 7 and a large smart TV. The dining table has seating for 6 and 2 bar stools along the kitchen counter and a small breakfast area that seats 2 in the mud/laundry room. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessities plus lots of extras; pots, pans, plenty of dishes, utensils, Keurig, toaster, blender, mixer, spices for cooking, and much much more. The laundry room is equipped with a washer and dryer, ironing board, and iron as well as a place to hang wet towels/swimsuits and a place for wet sandy shoes when entering the home. The first floor is separated from the second floor and has a nice-sized 3rd room with a trundle bed set (sleeps 2) an in-room half bath, and its own AC unit! In addition downstairs has a dining table, bench swing, outdoor shower, and a beautiful pool with a box full of pool toys and life jackets. A tiki torch-lined path to the pool and gazebo seating area makes for a beautifully lit evening. A charcoal grill is under the gazebo for your use.

These are our house rules. Please read them carefully as your agreement to the rules is recorded when you complete your reservation ~ Guest must be 25 or older to book a stay at the Pelican Paradise. The person booking our home must be available at our home throughout your stay. ~ No Parties or events. This includes Prom, Graduation, Weddings, Wedding receptions, Bachelor/Bachelorette or teen Parties. No more than 6 guests in the home at anytime, undeclared guests will result in a $50 per person charge ~Please remove all pool toys from the pool after usage. There is a $100 fee for pool toys left in the pool. ~ Pets are NOT allowed, $250 undeclared pet fee will be charged if a pet is found to have been in the home or on the grounds of the home ~ Parking is only permitted in the driveway. Please no parking in the streets. ~ Smoking is ONLY allowed outside - if smoking is found to have occurred inside of any part of the home, a $250 cleaning fee will be charged. ~Beach towels are provided, using bathroom towels at the beach will result in deposit reduction ~ Do not bring any of the patio furniture inside the home or take it to the beach, a fine will be charged if any furniture is taken to the beach ~ Board games are provided for guest enjoyment and are located in the TV's console, Please return games to their respective boxes when not in use ~ Quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am per city ordinance ~ Please report any damages that occur while you're in the residence, immediately ~ Fireworks are not permitted in the neighborhood. They are allowed on the beaches ~ Per HOA laws and safety; guests are not allowed to use a grill on the upstairs patio or under the house, use of the grill is permitted under the gazebo ~ Check in after 4 pm and check out by 11 am, there are no exceptions unless scheduled before check in. ~ Please utilize the outdoor shower to rinse off when returning from the beach to avoid tracking sand into the house or pool ~ Showering is required before entering the pool, especially after returning from the beach ~ Renter is liable for any damage to the property and agrees to accept charges to their credit card on file should damage occur during occupancy Checkout procedures: • Accumulate all waste in tied trash bags and discard in the trash cans located by the curb • Load any used dishes into the dishwasher, pots/pans should not be placed in dishwasher but washed and left to dry • Reset thermostat to 78 degrees in the upstairs and turn unit off in the lower bedroom • Close all blinds and turn off all interior lights • Strip all beds and take used towels and put them in laundry/mud room, if there are wet items, please put them in the tub upstairs

The third bedroom downstairs is not connected to the rest of the house. It is a ground level room and can be earthy. The community pool is seasonal so please ask us ahead of time if you are interested and we can check to see if it is open.
